CBS Hypocrisy: Imus Fired, Buck-Tooth Pervert Letterman Not So Much

I’m sure most of you have seen this outrageous clip of the buck-tooth, sexist, pervert David Letterman attacking Sarah Palin’s 14 yr old daughter… here is a pretty fair recap from NBC (if you can believe it):

So here’s the bottom-line problem… with the “Women’s Rutgers Basketball” incident, Don Imus made a “joke” as well, a far more innocuous joke, and CBS summarily fired him. The sexist , buck-tooth, unfunny, sexual pervert, makes a rape “joke” about Sarah Palin’s 14 yr old daughter… and we get crickets out of CBS. If that station has any integrity, which I seriously doubt, they would fire Letterman tomorrow and issue an apology to Sarah Palin and her family.

I just love going way back (a couple of months) in the archives to find these clips… this is Obama touting how efficient, transparent, and careful the government was going to be with our $1.3 trillion they blew in the pork package they called “stimulus”

Then we have this today from his Veep… from Reuters:

Biden says some waste inevitable part of stimulus

“We know some of this money is going to be wasted,” Biden said during a roundtable discussion in New York with business leaders aimed at promoting the two-year stimulus plan.

The package was approved by the Democratic-led Congress in February over the objections of most Republicans, who were concerned about the potential for wasteful spending and because it will add billions of dollars to U.S. deficit spending.

“There are going to be mistakes made,” said Biden. “Some people are being scammed already.”

“Our credibility depends on transparency” for how taxpayers dollars are used, he added.

Don’t you just love how the statist are so cavalier with “wasting” OUR money? Do you think for one second that Joe Biden would enter into into any personal contract knowing that his personal money would be wasted? Hell no! So why the hell do they think it’s A-OK to piss away our money?

I guess so long as the American people can see that government is wasting the money, then that’s cool with the Obama administration… pathetic.

Sotomayor: Obama’s Affirmative Action Pick

With Judge Sonia Sotomayor already facing questions over her 60 percent reversal rate, the Supreme Court could dump another problem into her lap next month if, as many legal analysts predict, the court overturns one of her rulings upholding a race-based employment decision.

Three of the five majority opinions written by Judge Sotomayor for the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals and reviewed by the Supreme Court were reversed, providing a potent line of attack raised by opponents Tuesday after President Obama announced he will nominate the 54-year-old Hispanic woman to the high court.

“Her high reversal rate alone should be enough for us to pause and take a good look at her record. Frankly, it is the Senates duty to do so,” said Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America.

Yeah, that Obama is just the smartest damn president we ever had. He’s Super-O, right? He’s sniffed out the best talent for the Supreme Court vacancy hasn’t he?

The reality is that this pick was not at all about the best qualified constitutional jurist in the nation… no, this was simply an Obama affirmative action pick. No serious person could argue that a judge with a soon to be 70% failure rate could possibly be the best candidate. No one.

Surprise! A Radical President Picks A… Radical Activist for Supreme Court

Is it really any surprise that President Obama nominated one of the most wild-eyed liberal judicial activist in the court system today to fill Souter’s vacancy on the Supreme Court? I see that the so-called Republican leadership has decided to play it cool at first… saying that they will give her a fair hearing, wait to comment until her record is more well-know, yadda, yadda, yadda. That is probably a strategically smart decision given that Pravda is just waiting to label them as racist anti-women nay-sayers if they dare question the selection this woman before they’ve had a chance to pump her  life story up.

I however, could care less what Pravda has to say, and I want to make sure that if the so-called Republican leadership has an ounce of principle left in them, they will oppose this nomination with every fiber of their being. Opposition will have nothing to do with her ethnicity, or the fact that she is a woman, and will have everything to do with the fact that she is a radical judicial activist who has zero respect for the Constitution, or our founding principles. 

All anyone needs to hear is this clip, to know that she is not qualified to sit on the highest court in our nation. 

These judges take a oath to uphold and interpret our Constitution, not remake the constitution, or set policy, on their whim. Under our governmental framework, the executive and the legislative branchs are responsible for setting policy, and making law. The judicial branch is simply there to ensure that enacted law stays within the construct of the constitution… they are not there to revise law, or to make law from whole cloth.  Judge Sonia Sotomayor seems to have no concept of these judicial limitations… which is why she needs to be defeated… by filibuster if necessary.

Memorial Day Weekend: Honoring the Men and Women of our Armed Forces

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember the sacrifices of the fallen. Those brave men and women who gave everything to defend this great country, and this great country’s people.

We honor those men and women this weekend, as well as all those currently serving in this nation’s defense. Thank you to all the heroes out there who work day-in and day-out to keep our homeland safe. God bless, and God speed.
